Funding has a $0.00 match requirement, and no budget amendment is necessary. Project summary statement: The City of Everett will receive $164,600 from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) to administer Everett Transit’s Commute Trip Reduction program from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025. The Commute Trip Reduction program works with Everett’s largest employers to reduce the rate of drive-alone commute trips by providing incentives and assistance to employers required to participate in the program by law. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Washington State Department of Transportation 2023-2025 Commute Trip Reduction grant agreement in substantially the form provided.
