ORDINANCE N o. 2 557 • An Ordinance amending certain paragraphs in Section One of Ordinance No. 2554, said section relating to the salaries of various officers, deputies, assistants and employees of the City of Everett, Washington, said amended paragraphs applying to the salaries of employees in the Engineering Department , the Water Department , the Library Department and the Park Department , and repealing any or all parts and portions of Ordinances or any Ordi- nance in conflict therewith; and declaring an emergency. TEE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:- Section 1. That certain paragraphs relating to the em- ployees in the Engineering Department, the Water Department, the Library Department and the Park Department of section 1 of Ordi- nance No. 2554 be and the same hereby are amended to read as fol- lows, to-wit:- Engineering Department. City Engineer (part time) - $110.00 per month. Assistant City Engineer - $157.00 per month. Draftsman - $135.00 per month. Transitman $148.00 per month. Stenographer - $100.00 per month. Head Chainman - $4.50 per day. Rear Chainman - $4.00 per day. A$eman - $4.00 per day. Levelman - $5.50 per day. Inspectors - $5.00 per day. Draftsman - $5.50 per day. Rodman - $5.00 per day. Emergency Foreman - $5.50nper day. Abstract Clerk - $10.00 per month. Water Department. Superintendant (part time) - $115.00 per month. Assistant superintendant - $170.00 per month. General Foreman - $157.00 per month. Headworks Operator- $144.00 per month. Operator Three Lakes Station .. $135.00 per month. Operator Panther Creek station - $135.00 per month. Draughtsman - 0135.00 per month. Inspector - $126.00 per month. Stock Clerk - $135.00 per month. Hydrant Flusher - $115.00 per month. stenographer - $100.00 per month. Clerk - $100.00 per month.
