ORDINANCE NO . 2554 <br /> An Ordinance fixing the salaries of the various officers, deputies, assist- <br /> ants, and employees of the City of Everett , Washington, altering or amending <br /> Ordinances Nos. 2483, 2516 and 2548 of said city as to all parts and portions <br /> of said Ordinances that fix or determine the salaries or compensation of offi- <br /> cers, deputies, assistants, or employees of said city , and repealing any and <br /> all parts and portions of any Ordinance or Ordinances in conflict herewith . <br /> THE CITY OF EVERE'IT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 . That from and after the first day of July, 1932, the salaries <br /> or copensation to be paid to the officers, deputies, assistants and employees <br /> of the City of. Everett shall be as in this Ordinance provided , to-wit: <br /> City Hall <br /> City Hall janitor $126.00 per month. <br /> Extra city hall janitor $100.00 per month. <br /> City Attorney <br /> City attorney $200.00 per month. <br /> Stenographer to city attorney $ 70.00 per month. <br /> For relief of stenographer 4 45.00 per year. <br /> City Clerk <br /> City Clerk $180.00 per month. <br /> Deputy city clerk 0144 .00 per month. <br /> Clerk and license inspector 0126.00 per month. <br /> Stenographer and clerk 80 .00 per month. <br /> City Treasurer <br /> City treasurer $180.00 per month. <br /> Deputy city treasurer $144.00 per month. • <br /> Assistant deputy city treasurer 0110 .00 per month. <br /> Stenographer and clerk $ 80.00 per month. <br /> Water cashier :130.00 per month. <br /> Assistant water cashier $125.00 per month. <br /> Clerk .and bookkeeper $120.00 per month. <br /> Police Department <br /> Chief of police $180.00 per month. <br /> Chief of detectives 0166 .00 per month. <br /> Chief of identification bureau $157.00 per month. <br /> Desk sergeants 1144.00 per month. <br /> Plain clothes men 0144.00 per month. <br /> First class .patrolmen 0140.00 per month. <br /> Second class patrolmen $130.00 per month. <br /> Third class patrolmen 0125 .00 per month. <br /> Jailor and cook 0125 .00 per month. <br /> Police matron $112.00 per month. <br /> Clerk and stenographer (part time) $ 50.00 per month. <br /> Health Department <br /> Health officer 0122 .00 per month . <br /> Milk inspector $14.5 .00 per month. <br /> Deputy health officer 0126 .00 per month. <br /> Meat inspector 425.00 per month. <br /> Clerk and stenographer (part time) $ 50.00 per month. <br /> -1- <br />
