i , * ! <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2549 <br /> An Ordinance vacating the South 10 feet of 35th Street, from the east line of <br /> Rucker Avenue to the west line of Hoyt Avenue, and from the east line of Hoyt Av- <br /> enue to the west line of Colby Avenue, Blocks 851 and 852, Plat of Everett, and <br /> the North 10 feet of 35th Street from the east line of Rucker Avenue to the west <br /> line of Hoyt Avenue, and from the east line of Hoyt Avenue to the west line of <br /> Colby Avenue, Blocks 823 and 824 of Division "A", The Everett Land Co.'s Addition <br /> to Everett, all in Snohomish County, Washington. <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of more than two thirds of the private property abutting <br /> upon that part of 35th street hereinafter described, duly filed their petition with <br /> the City Council of the City of Everett praying for the vacation of a portion of <br /> said 35th Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Council of said City did, by resolution, duly adopted, fix March <br /> 1 lth 1932, at the hour of 10:30 A.M. of said day for the hearing and determination <br /> of said petition; and <br /> WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of the hearing and determina- <br /> tion of said petition has been duly given by the City Clerk of said City as required <br /> by law; and <br /> WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council that said petition should be granted <br /> and said City Council does hereby determine to vacate said portion of said 35th <br /> Street; Now, Therefore <br /> THE CITY OF EVBRETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 . That the South 10 feet of 35th Street, from the east line of Rucker <br /> Avenue to the West line of Hoyt Avenue, and from the east line of Hoyt Avenue to <br /> *the West line of Colby Avenue, Blocks 851 and 852, Plat of Everett, and the North <br /> 10 feet of 35th Street, from the east line of Rucker Avenue to the West line of Hoyt <br /> Avenue, and from the east line of Hoyt Avenue to the West line of Colby Avenue, <br /> Blocks 823 and 824 of Division "A", The Everett Land Co.'s Addition to Everett, all <br /> in Snohomish County, Washington, be and the same hereby is vacated and the title to <br /> the land in said portion of said Street above described is hereby declared to vest <br /> in the abutting property owners as provided by law. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed : March 30th , 1932 <br /> Published: WaVICK 1st , 1932. <br /> April <br />
