1 1 ORDINANCE NO. 2546 • An ordinance amending Sections 4,10,26,30 and 37 of Ordinance No.2483 and Section 10 of Ordinance No.2516 of the City of Everett, providing for the fixing and determining of the number and designation of the various officers , assistants, deputies and employees of the City of Everett and the various departments thereof, prescribing the duties of such officers, assistants, deputies and employees , fixing their salaries, and repealing Sections 4, 10,26,30 and 37 of Ordinance No.2483 and Section 10 of Ordinance No.2516 of the City of Everett and all other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict therewith. THE CITY OF EVER 'TT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance No.2483 be amended so as to read as follows, to-wit : Section 4: There shall be the following named assistants in the Health Department , to-wit: One Deputy Health Officer, One Milk and Food (other than meat ) Inspector, One meat inspector , One clerk and stenog- rapher (half time) . It shall be the duty of the deputy, milk and food (other than meat ) inspector, meat inspector, clerk and stenographer to perform the duties pertaining to said department under the direction of the health officer and commissioner of public safety. Section 2. That Section 10 of Ordinance No.2483 be amended so as to read as follows, to-wit: Section 10: There shall be in the office of the inspection depart- ment the following named officers , to-wit : Building Inspector , City Electrician. and Plumbing Inspector. It shall be the duty of such officers to perform the duties relating to t heir said offices as defined by the Ordinances of the city, and such other duties as the commissioner of public works shall direct. Provided that nothing herein contained shall be construed to prevent the offices of Building Inspector, City Electrician and Plumbing In- spector from being filled by one appointee . Section 26: Health Department Health Officer, One Hundred Thirty-five ( 135.00) Dollars per month. Deputy Health Officer,One hundred forty (4140.00) Dollars per month. Milk and Food ( other than meat ) Inspector, One Hundred Forty-five (4145.00) Dollars per month. Meat Inspector, Twenty-five ( 25.00 ) Dollars per month. Clerk and Stenographer (one-half salary) Fifty-five (455.00) Dollars per month. Section 4. That Section 30 of Ordinance No.2483 be amended so as to read as follows, to-wit: Section 30: Police Court One Police Justice, Seventy-five ( 75.00) Dollars per month. Clerk of Court , Ten (: 10.00 j Dollars per month. Section 5. That Section 37 of Ordinance No.2483 be amended so as to read as follows, to-wit: Section 37: Inspection Department Building Inspector, Fifty (450.00) Dollars per month (part time ) . Plumbing Inspector , Fifty (a50.00) Dollars per month (part time ) . City Electrician, Sixty ( 60.00) Dollars per month (part time) . -1-
