• ORDINANCE NO. 2537 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the following described tract of land, to-wit: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 16, Block 772, flat of Everett, Division H; thence South along the west line of Lot 16, 25 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 16; thence east along the south line of Lot 16, 50 feet; thence north- westerly on a straight line to the true point of beginning, containing .014 acres. WHEEAS, on September 15, 1931, a petition was filed with the City • Clerk of the City of Everett signed by the owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting upon the following described tract of land, to-wit : Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 16, Block 772, Plat of Everett, Division H; thence south along the west line of Lot 16, 25 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 16; thence east along the south line of Lot 16, 50 feet ; thence north- westerly on a straight line to the true point of beginning, containing .014 acres. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett did by Resolution duly adopted, fix October 9th, 1931, at the hour of 10:30 o' clock a. m. of said day as the date for hearing on said petition, and, WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of hearinn g and determining said petition was duly given by the City Clerk of said City as required by law and, WHEREAS, at the time set for said hearing on said petition no person or persons appeared at said hearing or objected to the granting of said petition and, WHEREAS, it appearing to the said City Council that said petition should be granted and said Council does hereby determine to vacate said tract of land, now, therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES: ORDAIN: Section 1: That the following described tract of land, to-wit: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 16, Block 772, Plat of Everett, Division H; thence south along the west line of Lot 16, 25 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 16; thence east along t'h,e south line of Lot 16, 50 feet ; thence north- westerly on a straight line to the true point of beginning, containing .014 acres.
