CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERS PACIFIC NORTHWEST ENGINEERING INC. <br />ft <br />N[_ <br />S+NEE RIND - <br />The extent of damage exhibited at these walls does not meet the requirement level of <br />"Substantial Structural Damage" and does not qualify as "Disproportionate Earthquake <br />Damage" as defined in Chapter 2, Section 202, General Definitions in the 2018 <br />International Existing Buildings Code (IEBC). <br />It is requested that the damaged masonry be restored back to pre -damage condition as <br />allowed for under Chapter 4 of the 2018 (IEBC). Additionally, as part of the general <br />maintenance and upkeep of the structure, it is requested that overall repointing of the <br />mortar joints on the entire upper -level masonry walls be allowed. <br />I look forward to resuming this project.
