Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. All braced wall lines and all braced wall panels shall be clearly defined on the <br /> construction drawings. If the plan does not meet the prescriptive requirements for <br /> lateral bracing, provide lateral analysis prepared by a licensed WA state structural <br /> engineer for wind and seismic loading. <br /> 2. Provide minimum 36" loading at entrance/exit, not more than 73/4" below finished floor. <br /> (A landing is not required where 2 or fewer risers is located on the exterior side of the <br /> door, provided the door does not swing over the stairway). Show on plans (including <br /> steps into garage). <br /> 3. Specify material of floor at front porch. If wood provide framing plan &footings, if <br /> concrete stub-out #4 re-bar at 18"o.c. (Show on foundation plan). <br /> 4. Provide (2) 6"x12"screened openings located (1) high, (1) low near the water heater for <br /> combustion air. Show on plans. <br /> 5. Provide min R-10 rigid insulation for full height of all exterior headers.
