Seatronics, Inc. Boeing 787 JV . Aircraft Early Warning Fire Detection Systems Job: 111137 <br />Fire Alarm System Submittal Manual Section 1 <br />2. Detection of a "High Air Flow" condition by the Vesda enhanced air flow monitoring system <br />shall: <br />a. Illuminate the "High Flow" indicator on the air flow display control unit. <br />b. "High Air Flow" warning indicated on Vesda graphics WEB page with a yellow airplane symbol <br />indicated. <br />F. Vesda Power Supply Fault Conditions: <br />1. Detection of a fault condition on the Vesda power supply (loss of AC or DC power integrity) <br />at any airplane position shall: <br />a. Illuminate the `TROUBLE" indicator on the MFAP. <br />b. Display proper point information on LCD display at MFAP. <br />c. Transmit a Trouble signal to ADT <br />G. Trouble Conditions - General <br />1 Conditions in the system that may cause failure, or impair operation of the system <br />shall cause the following: <br />a. Cause the TROUBLE indicator lamp on the MFAP to illuminate. <br />b. Cause the internal sounder device in the MFAP to activate. <br />c. Display proper message on MFAP LCD display with TROUBLE location information. <br />d. Transmit a TROUBLE signal to the Central Station monitoring company (ADT). <br />The following is an abbreviated list of the types of faults that will cause a trouble condition to report to <br />the MFAP. <br />a. Open, shorted or grounded wiring on any detection circuit. <br />b. Open, shorted or grounded wiring on any manual circuit. <br />c. Any missing or removed addressable device such as smoke detectors, point monitoring modules <br />or manual stations. <br />d. Open, shorted or grounded wiring on any NAC (horn/strobe) circuit. <br />e. Activation of any MFAP "Bypass" or "Override" function. <br />f. Control Panel stand-by battery fault. <br />g.
