Placing the Vesda system into "Isolate" mode using the "Isolate button at the VCP or <br />through the Vesda graphics system Web page shall: <br />Note: System must be "Isolated" before any alarms are initiated. Isolating after the alarm <br />occurs will not prevent alarm control sequences. <br />a. Illuminate the "Isolated" indicator on the VCP. <br />b. "Isolated" warning indicated on Vesda graphics WEB page with a blue airplane symbol <br />indicated. <br />c. Prevent any smoke alarm signals initiated on the Vesda system from being initiated on the <br />MFAP, thereby preventing power shutdown, audible alarm signals and alarm signal to ADT. <br />C. Save Switch Operation: <br />1. Pressing the Vesda system "SAVE SWITCH", with a high level smoke alarm initiated, but <br />before the 60 second shutdown timer has expired, shall: <br />a. Illuminate the "System Saved" indicator on the VCP. <br />b. Illuminate the "SUPERVISORY" indicator on the MFAP. <br />c. Display proper point information on LCD display at MFAP. <br />d. Transmit a Trouble signal to ADT <br />e. Prevent airplane position power shutdown from occurring. <br />f. Releasing the Save Switch shall cause the time delay for shutdown to restart at 60 seconds. <br />g. Operation of a Manual Station shall override the Save Switch (if engaged) and cause immediate <br />power shutdown and all Manual Alarm responses. <br />D. "Out of Service" Mode Operation: <br />1. Place the Vesda system into "Out of Service" mode" using the "Out of Service" control <br />button on the Vesda graphics Web page. <br />a. Verify that the Vesda display unit and detector unit turn off. <br />b. Verify "Out of Service" mode is indicated on Vesda graphics WEB page (white airplane outline <br />symbol on screen). <br />E. Air Flow Fault Conditions: <br />1. Detection of a "Low Air Flow" condition by the Vesda enhanced air flow monitoring system <br />shall: <br />a. Illuminate the "Low Flow" indicator on the air flow display control unit. <br />b.
