October 4, 2023 <br />1 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., October 4, 2023, <br />by President Stonecipher. <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Fosse, Schwab, Vogeli, Zarlingo, Tuohy, and <br />Stonecipher were present. Mayor Franklin was excused. <br />Council Member Schwab led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Zarlingo read the land acknowledgement. <br />The minutes of the September 27, 2023, City Council meeting were approved. <br />MAYOR’S COMMENTS <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br />Alliance for Housing Affordability Briefing <br />Presented by Chris Collier, Alliance for Housing Authority Program Manager <br />Discussion ensued with Chris Collier answering Council questions. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />No members of the public spoke. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Council comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br />Council Member Schwab requested additional information on the Sievers Duecy and Glenwood <br />Avenue women and children’s shelter SEPA application. <br />Council Member Rhyne and President Stonecipher requested updates on Boards and Commission <br />openings.
