But, because <br />the required 7' W setback, placing the E foundation piers at the slab corners resulted in the overall <br />building length almost 4' shorter than required by the plans. <br />Our solution is to add two new piers E of the existing installed piers (See photos). This will extend the <br />structure to the full planned distance of 20'10". We will excavate and form the piers, and call for <br />inspection. If passing, the piers will be poured and construction will continue as planned and approved. <br />We're sharing this minor change to ensure it's documented in the planning file.
