We typically receive this
as part of the permit submittal, and if we don't, we ask for it on a corrections letter.
Thanks,
Meg
From: Aaron Newell mailto:aneweici-eineers.com]
Sent: Wednesday, December 22, 2010 2:57 PM
To: Meg Haley
Cc: Jce Stoy
Subject: RE: Schedule of special inspections for the Money Tree Store #6 in Everett, permit number B1010-045
Meg,
There is minor strucWral steel and deck on this project at the canopy so that is why that is in the general notes. Also the
concrete is designed as a 2500psi mix but specified as 3000psi for qualiry, since it is designed as 2500psi there are no
special inspections rnquired tor the concrete (refemnce sheet S1Z "Table of Mix Design Requirements" note 9).
Aaron D. In reading over the structural drawings, there are references to
special inspections in the general notes that are not applicable to this project: structural steel, metal
roof deck, etc. On the other hand, the concrete strength is over 2500 psi, and would require a
special inspection, per IBC section 1704.4.
