GeoTest Services, Inc. September 6, 2019
Proposed Swimming Pool — 954 North Park Drive, Everett, WA Project No. 19-0361
Photo 7. Screen shot from DNR showing mapped slope movements in the vicinity of the subject property.
In addition, sand bars were observed at the mouth of the existing ravines that are in close
proximity to the subject property. The sand bars likely originated from erosion of the existing
valley channels. The resulting runout can be observed from both bare earth and aerial imagery.
Additional information regarding past earth movements in close proximity to the subject
property was also obtained from the Map Showing Recent and Historic Landslide Activity on
Coastal Bluffs of Puget Sound Between Shilshole Bay and Everett, Washington (Baum et al., 2000),
published by the United States Geological Survey. Numerous earth movements occurred on the
existing bluff overlooking Puget Sound during the winters of 1996 and 1997. As a result, at least
three occurrences of earth movement were noted on the bluff slope directly north and northeast
of the subject property. Evidence of these past earth movements can be seen in the bare earth
and Google Maps imagery that was reviewed for this project (see Photo 6). Some details of these
movements follow in Table 2 below.
P
