CHANGE ORDER #
Project (Procurement) Number: Small Works Roster Project Title:
IFQ 2023-049 Emma Yule Park Site Improvements
Description of Change:
BUILDING/LOCATION: 4831 Rucker Avenue, Everett, WA 98203
At the time of award, city staff were unaware of a prior agreement to maintain the park side of a
hedge that is growing along the property line between a residence and the park. This change order
shortens the length of the fence to take into consideration the hedge. Originally, the fencing was
going to be installed in front of the hedge. The fence was moved as close to the hedge as possible
and the total amount of fencing required was less, allowing the City to provide maintenance without
accessing private property.
Unfortunately, the fencing required for the project was a special order and cannot be returned.
However, the project manager determined that the fencing not needed for the project could be used
in other areas that may require repairs.
Specifically, this change order is to:
Fence to be shortened as per discussion with Lolly on site.
Fence to terminate at 90-degree angle into neighbor's existing chain link fence.
Fencing to be installed between the existing park chain link fence and the neighbor's existing
chain link fence.
Install topsoil in trench dugout today in place of concrete mow strip.
Fencing materials not used in the project to become the property of the city of Everett and will
be left on site for their use.
The changes described above result in the following adjustment(s) in price and contract time (in calendar days).
* Total Project Price Prior to this Change $63,192.50 Contract Time & Completion Date Prior
to This Change 180
Completion
Date Prior
09/01/23
* Net (Increase) or (Decrease) Resulting from
this Change++$2,417.80 Net (Increase) or (Decrease) Resulting
from this Change 0
* Total Project Price Including this Change $65,610.30 Contract Time & Completion Date
Including This Change 180
Completion
Date After
02/28/24
By signing below, City of Everett and the Contractor agree that the Contract work shall be changed to the extent
described in
compensation for all such changes, including all direct and indirect costs and impacts. The City of Everett and the
Contractor further agree that Contract time shall be adjusted to the extent shown above. This Change Order only
changes the contract between City of Everett and the Contractor to the extent explicitly provided in this Change Order.
Signatures on this change order may be ink, scanned pdf signature, or other electronic means (such as AdobeSign).
0001
