The general RFP process is open for all <br />ideas and proposals for any City of Everett Park land or park building assets. Some examples of park <br />locations that could be utilized for your business, and that the Parks department is especially interested in <br />receiving proposals for, includes: <br />• Forest Park Swim Center, 802 E. Mukilteo Boulevard. <br />• Animal Farm Area, Forest Park, 802 E. Mukilteo Boulevard. <br />• Forest Park Preschool, 802 E. Mukilteo Boulevard. <br />• Legion Park Greenhouses 145 Alverson Boulevard. <br />• Legion Park Horticulture Office, 145 Alverson Boulevard. <br />• Legion Memorial & Walter Hall Golf Course Restaurant Areas. <br />• Cemex Property north of Phil Johnson Ballfields, 400 Sievers Duecy Boulevard. <br />• Senator Henry M. Jackson Park and Ballfields, 3302 18th Street. <br />• Kasch Cloverleaf (Baseball and Softball) Fields, 2300 Kasch Park Road. <br />• Caretaker residence at Madison Morgan Park, Morgan Road and Madison Street. <br />• Other ideas include golf driving ranges, BMX track, skating venues, dedicated covered, pickle ball courts. <br />The City’s Park patrons include families, youth and adult sport organizations, dog enthusiasts, senior <br />citizens, joggers, walkers, boaters, bicyclists, sport lovers, gardeners, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts of <br />all ages. <br />2.3 INTENT OF SPECIFICATIONS <br />The apparent silence or omission in the specifications as to any detail of the work to be done or materials <br />to be furnished means that the best general practice shall prevail, and that material and workmanship of <br />the best quality shall be used. The specifications shall be interpreted on this basis. <br />2.4 SCOPE OF WORK <br />It is important that the proposals that are received accurately reflect the growing needs of the City’s <br />residents and visitors, and that the outcomes are rich in community benefit, provide revenue to the <br />department, or greatly improve a park asset. A list of the developed park properties is listed in Appendix A <br />and proposals can be received for any Everett Park property. <br />The City is seeking proposals for the development and operation of facilities incorporating enhanced <br />recreational amenities in parks, such as non-traditional, adventure or extreme sports like BMX, skate <br />parks, throwing venues, paintball, zip line, disc golf and pump tracks at one or more Everett Parks <br />properties. Additionally, the city is interested in improvements made to existing facilities in exchange for <br />use, such as turf multiuse fields, rental operations, long and short-term rentals, leases, revenue share <br />opportunities or management agreements for existing facilities. Finally, the city is seeking proposals for <br />development and operation of year around or seasonal full-service restaurants, gift shops, dance studio, <br />martial arts, or other businesses interested in partnering with Parks to either rent, lease, or share revenue
