Element 10: Control Dewatering (2.1.10) <br />Dewatering will occur at excavations for foundations, vaults, and utility trenches. The source of <br />water in these areas is groundwater, the groundwater is not known or anticipated to be <br />contaminated. <br />Table 3 — Dewatering BMPs <br />Infiltration <br />X <br />Transport off -site in a vehicle (vacuum truck for legal disposal) <br />Ecology -approved on -site chemical treatment or other suitable treatment technologies <br />Sanitary or combined sewer discharge with local sewer district approval (last resort) <br />Use of sedimentation bag with discharge to ditch or swale (small volumes of localized <br />dewaterin <br />Baker tanks will be used for dewatering. <br />List and describe BMPs: NA <br />Installation Schedules: NA <br />Inspection and Maintenance plan: Inspection and Maintenance shall be performed per BMP <br />guidelines and manufacturer recommendations. <br />Responsible Staff: CESCL (TBD by Contractor) <br />
