fr- <br /> Section /4 No person, firm or corporation shall conduct an <br /> employment agency, employment bureau or employment office for profit <br /> in the City of Everett without first having received a license therefor <br /> as hereinafter provided. <br /> Section, / Vany person, firm or corporation desiring such license <br /> shall make a R itton application therefor to the City Council of the <br /> City of F,everett, which application shall state the length of time said <br /> applicant has been a resident of the said city, the location of the <br /> business for which said license is sought, and that said location is not <br /> in or adjoining any room or rooms in which intoxicating liquor is sold <br /> or offered for sale. Said application shall be accompanied by a bond <br /> to the City of Everett in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars for the use <br /> of the City of Everett, and for the use of all persons dealing with <br /> such applicant, and conditioned that the said applicant shall faithfully <br /> perform all the conditions and requirements of this ordinance and of his <br /> license . Said bond shall be signed by the applicant as `principal and by <br /> a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Washington as <br /> surety, and shall be approved by the City Attorney. <br /> Sect ion,/7 _ The fee for such license shall be Ten Dollars for <br /> each year or fractional part of a year. No license shall be granted for <br /> a longer period than one year, and every license granted shall expire upon <br /> the 31st day of December of the year in which said license is granted. <br /> No such employment office shall ever be conducted in or adjoining any <br /> room or rooms in which intoxicating liquor is sold or offered for sale, <br /> and no license 4hall ever be granted to conduct any such business therein. <br /> Section/ Every holder of such license shall keep the s ame <br /> /0 <br /> posted in a conspicuous place in his place of business, and also keep <br /> posted in a conspicuous place therein a copy of this ordinance. <br /> Secti411,/7 No person, firm or corporation shall be permitted <br /> to <br /> charge or exact or require any fees for furnishing employment to any person <br /> —/1 �� <br />
