An Ordinance providing for the improvement of the alley between Rucker and Grand Avenues from Hewitt south to the alley pavement north of Wall Street, by grading and construction of a six - inch one course Portland cement concrete pavement, and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said im- provement be made by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. HEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, petitioning for said improvement, has heretofore been. filed with the Commissioner of Public i+orks and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true, and ;IH :HEAS, said Commissioner of rublie works has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law, and :'+HE. AS, said Commissioner of Public Yorks has recommend- ea to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and it appearing to the City Council that public convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made; now, therefore, THE CITY OF EViT T DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: Thatyche allay. between Rucker and Grand Avenues, from Hewitt south to t`he alley pavement north of Wall.
