Exhibit A (Scope of Work)
SCOPE OF WORK
Law enforcement pre-hire evaluations involve a lengthy process of gathering
information from the referring department, which includes an interview with a
department representative who can provide corroborative evidence. Once an applicant
is scheduled, the psychological evaluation involves a one to two hour interview, as well
as a structured interview which examines topics related to police work, family history,
individual strengths and weaknesses and communications skills. The applicant then
undergoes a series of personality tests to determine strengths and weaknesses,
specifically as their personality relates to police work. Once the results have been
tabulated, a written report is prepared that consists of all the data obtained from the
testing, interviews and corroborative evidence. The written report is then forwarded to
the referring department.

Dr. Bargreen agrees to contact and schedule an appointment with each applicant within
one week of receiving a referral. Each psychological examination will consist of an
interview with the applicant, as well as a structured interview intended to examine topics
related to police work, family history, individual strengths and weaknesses, and
communications skills. Additionally, Dr. Bargreen will administer and evaluate the
Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory – Second Edition (MMPI-II), Beck
Depression Scale – Second Edition (BDI-2), Trauma Symptom Inventory (TSI), for each
referred applicant. Each completed report will include evaluations of the appli cant’s
learning skills and abilities, judgement and ability to problem solve, work attitudes and
dependability, working relationships and corroborated data collected from interviews
with a department representative from the referring agency. The completed report will
be returned to the referring agency withing ten (10) days of the examination.
