The last drainage structure in a strummer only system prior to connection to any facility which may <br />contain sanitary sewage shall include a gas trap in accordance with Standard Drawing 413 or 414. <br />No connections of roof drains to side sewers or laterals shall be allowed without prior approval of the <br />Director. Downspouts may be discharged to the ground surface, using splash blocks or other means. <br />Stormwater runoff shall not be connected directly to sanitary side sewers. Projects that discharge <br />summoner oner in the combined sewer system shall connect to the sewer main using a separate storm side <br />sewer. Stormwater runoff shall be discharged to a floatable material separator with gas trap, per Standard <br />Drawing 413 or 414, prior in the connection to the combined system sewer main. <br />610.2(2) COMBINED SEWER CONVEYANCE SIZING <br />New combined sewer mains will be sized by public Woks staff based on internal design standards and <br />modeling methodologies. <br />Stomrwater only elements of the combined sewer system shall be designed in accordance with Section 4 <br />2.2 <br />SMITMY SEWERS 617 <br />
