Fire Pension Board Minutes <br />City Of Everett <br />October 18, 2023 <br />1 <br />The regular meeting of the Fire Pension Board was called to order at 10:07 a.m. on October 18, <br />2023. Board Members Vitalich, Neyens, and Jorve were present. Board Members Franklin and <br />Stonecipher were excused. Board Attorney David Hall, Marcy Hammer, Nick Biss and Ana <br />Mechler, Human Resources; and Richard Gray, Finance, were also present. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of September 20, 2023, were approved. <br />BILLS AND PENSION ROLLS <br />PENSION ROLL <br />Budgeted Amount $700,000.00 <br />August 2023 $57,290.77 <br />Remaining budget $177,968.83 25.42% <br />MEDICAL CLAIMS <br />Budgeted amount $2,084,000.00 <br />August 2023 $68,421.78 <br />August 2023 HMA fees $14,927.44 <br />Remaining budget $1,256,663.25 60.30% <br />Moved by Neyens, seconded by Vitalich, to approve the pension rolls and medical claims as <br />presented. <br />Roll was called with all members voting yes except Board Members Franklin and Stonecipher, <br />who were excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />OTHER: <br />Discussion ensued regarding the new required HMA form. <br />Delroy Holman passed away on August 28, 2023.
