OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE The proposed project will construct a new concrete pedestrian plaza and pedestrian walkway. Additional improvements include water service to the pedestrian plaza. The project owner will be responsible for maintaining and operating the on -site stmmwater drainage facilities, as explained below and in the maintenance guidelines in Appendix C. In addition, the following operation and maintenance plan is proposed: A. Temporary erosion and sediment control facilities shall be maintained during construction according to the Temporary Erosion Control Plan. B. Any deterioration threatening the structural integrity of the stormwater treatment facilities shall be repaired. C. Any standing water removed from catch basins during maintenance operations shall be disposed of off the property. D. Wastewater, collected sediments, and other wastes collected by Vactor truck cleaning operations are considered contaminated and shall not be discharged back into a drainage facility. The following Source Control BMPs are identified as appropriate for this project: BM? S411 Landscaping and Lawn/Vegetation Management Amended soil/landscape systems, such as BMP T5-13, will be implemented in the landscape design. BM?
