Our study included
the following:
• A visual surface reconnaissance of the site;
• A review of published geologic and seismologic maps and literature;
• Four hand borings (designated HB-01 through HB-04) advanced at strategic locations across the
site; and
• Three grain -size analysis and three moisture content performed on selected soil samples
obtained from strategic locations beneath the site.
Table 1 summarizes the approximate functional locations, surface elevations, and termination depths of
our explorations, and Figure 2 depicts their approximate relative locations. Appendix A of this report
describes ourfield explorations procedures, and Appendix B describes our laboratory testing procedures.
MP ENGINEERING, PLLC MPGEOTECH.COM
