Service <br />Integrity <br />EVERETT Respect <br />Community <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY Leadership <br />Wisdom <br />Creativity <br />City of Everett Hold Harmless Agreement <br />June 10th, 2020 <br />Tony Lee <br />Building Official <br />City of Everett Public Works <br />3200 Cedar Street <br />Everett, WA 98201 <br />Dear Mr. Lee: <br />This letter is intended to formally request that the Housing Authority of the City of Everett's <br />(EHA) Baker Legacy project be allowed to submit Public Works and Building Permits for our <br />Baker Legacy project at 2710 14th Street prior to approval by the Planning Department of <br />the SEPA/Land Use Application submitted on February 5th, 2020. <br />We acknowledge to the City, that EHA understands the risks associated with submitting the <br />building permit application prior to approval of the (SEPA)/Land Use Application and further <br />understands that submitting for a building permit does not vest the project or imply that land <br />use approvals will be given. <br />Finally, EHA agrees to hold the City of Everett harmless for the loss of paid application fees, <br />design fees, and other fees that may be incurred if the SEPA/Land Use comments cause <br />the project to be altogether denied, affects the timeframe that creates a feasibility issue <br />related to the project or requires additional design modifications subsequent to submittal of <br />the building permit. <br />Sincerely, <br />Ashley Lommers-Johnson, Executive Director <br />Jun 16, 2020 <br />Acceptance of Hold Harmless (to be signed by City) Date <br />r� <br />Mailing: P.O.
