This new license agreement is a SnoPUD <br />driven update that requires all municipalities within SnoPUD’s service area to pay a nominal fee <br />for their attachments to SnoPUD’s poles. Previously, local municipalities were exempt from <br />attachment fees. It is expected that Everett’s new attachment fees will be approx. $6,000/year. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Municipal Pole Attachment License Agreement with Snohomish <br />County PUD. <br />
