Project summary statement: The initial purpose of this project was to replace aging combined sewer mains and make drainage modifications for future separation from sanitary sewer on Grand Avenue between Hewitt Avenue and 19th Street. To adhere to emerging regulatory and compliance requirements, this project will be incorporated into the Port Gardner Storage Facility (PGSF) and will not be completed as a standalone project.
