Plans for the fire
damaged garage showing the extent of the work should be provided. R106.1.1
Response: Drawings on sheet A2.2 now show the extent of the garage repair.
1. Where a structural design
is performed per Section R301.1.3, structural drawings and calculations should be
prepared by a professional engineer licensed in the state of Washington; the drawings
and calculations should bear the seal and signature of the engineer. See RCW Sections
18.43.010, 18.43.020, and 18.43.070.
2. Provide general structural notes including but not limited to:
a. Specify all design load values, including dead, live, snow, wind, and soil
bearing values.
b. Specify maximum design concrete strength, concrete sack mix and reinforcing
bar grade.
c. Specify typical header size.
Response: 1. Calculations and drawings have been reviewed by a licensed engineer.
Stamp is now included. 2. Structural calculations include load values for new framing
members. Headers are now called out.
Regards,
Ethan Perrigoue
Yen Design, Inc.
206-432-1111
(206)432-11111 WWW.YENDES.COM
