Description of Date(s): Inspection on 8/14/2023, Notice of Violation and Order <br /> Violation and codes Supplement was issued on 8/24/2023 for multiple violations including <br /> violated: (Notice(s) unpermitted alteration/removal of required landscape, with a <br /> of Violation and/or compliance date of 10/23/2023. <br /> other enforcement The removal of previously approved landscaping is a violation of <br /> document(s) issued Everett Municipal Code (EMC) 19.35.080.A, which read: <br /> are attached to this <br /> Agreement) EMC Provision(s) Violated: <br /> EMC 19.35.080 Outdoor display and off-street parking area landscape <br /> requirements. <br /> The following requirements shall apply to landscaping of all off- <br /> street parking, outdoor automobile sales and outdoor display areas, <br /> except as otherwise provided in this title for specific zones. The <br /> purpose of this section is to provide visual relief along <br /> the street frontage of outdoor display and off-street parking areas, to <br /> prevent a monotonous visual experience of large expanses of paving, <br /> to create shade and mitigate the heat island effect of paved parking <br /> areas, to improve water quality, to improve stormwater management, <br /> to help control the flow of traffic, and to soften the appearance of <br /> parking structures. <br /> A. Parking and storage areas, automobile sales lots and other outdoor <br /> display areas which front on a street right-of-way shall provide the <br /> required landscaping in Table 35-2. <br /> Corrective Action(s) By March 6, 2024— <br /> Required and Submit complete applications for all of the necessary and required <br /> Compliance permits and approvals to bring the property into compliance with the <br /> Schedule for Everett Municipal Code, including restoration of the landscaping next <br /> Corrective Action(s) to the sidewalk and the adjacent minor site work (under 2000 sf Hard <br /> Surface). Information on the City of Everett permit application process <br /> can be found at www.everettwa.gov/permits.
