The architect's
original shear wall schedule included interior shear walls used to brace the exterior walls. Using my
engineered design I was able to take all of the shear in the exterior walls using 8d nails at 6" on center at
panel edges, and 12" on center field. 1 have noted this as an "Alternate Shear Wall Schedule"
highlighted in red on Sheets A4 and A5 in the bottom right comer of the approved plans
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss any of these items in more detail or if you
have any questions. You can reach me by phone at (206) 914-9536, or by email at
LakeviewSE@outlook.com.
Sincerely, 12
Jon Conner, PE, SE
Lakeview Structural Engineering
