EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The data provided in this Stormwater Pollution and Prevention (SWPP) Narrative is provided for
the purpose of evaluating the proposed new development and to comply with the minimum
requirements set by the City of Everett Municipal Code and Stormwater Management Manual
for Western Washington 2019 (SMMWW).
The project site is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Dakota Way and 100`h
Street Southwest in Everett, Washington, within City of Everett limits (Parcel #'s:
00552400602500 & 00552400602600). The project site is approximately 0.53 acres and has
ground slopes that range from 2% to 8% to the south. There are no existing buildings on the
parcel. Swamp Creek passes through the southeastern portion of the property via an existing
enclosed pipe. The parcel is covered in lawn.
On -site soils in the area of development are consistent with Alderwood-Urban land complex.
On -site stormwater appears to sheet flow and infiltrate into the existing native vegetated areas.
The proposed project consists of construction of two single-family residences (SFR, f3,420 sf
w/overhang) with two asphalt driveways (f600 sf) and two concrete parking areas (f535 sf).
The proposed development will be located in the northern portion of the site. Stormwater runoff
from the proposed SFRs will use a dispersion trench, and stormwater from the proposed
driveways will use sheet flow dispersion.
Due to the type of soil on -site, together with other best management practices (BMPs) used on
this proposed project, it is expected to meet the intent to provide both erosion control and
stormwater treatment. For additional information, refer to the SWPP Elements below and the
SWPP Plans.
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE:
1. Arrange and attend pre -construction meeting with the city.
2. Flag clearing limits as indicated and install SWPP measures.
3. Install Dispersion Trench.
4. Construct buildings and driveways.
5. Stabilize disturbed land surfaces.
