Single Window Cut and Potholes: <br /> i. The pavement shall be removed with a neat line cut a minimum of 12-inches <br /> from all edges of the window cut. <br /> ii. Backfill shall be placed to the bottom edge of the existing asphalt or within <br /> 6-inches of existing road grade, whichever is greater, per WSDOT/APWA <br /> Specification 7-08.3(3) and these Standards, using bank run gravel or CSTC <br /> conforming to WSDOT/APWA Specifications 9-03.19 or 9-03.9(3), <br /> respectively. Backfill shall be spread in successive layers not exceeding 6- <br /> inches in loose thickness.
