Wet Weather Recommendations <br /> Primary Design Goal: <br /> • Configure outlet manholes to result in more equal hydraulic conditions between media beds <br /> • Purpose: More equal treatment capacity, treatment performance, 0&M, and plant selection <br /> • Maintain required flows to wetland <br /> • Induce some amount of media saturation at range of wet weather flowrates (pumped through <br /> max) <br /> Design Constraints: <br /> • Maintain existing 90% Design features inside media beds <br /> • Maintain existing 90% wetland discharge pipe invert elevations <br /> • Maintain existing pipe sizes and inverts <br /> Key Assumption <br /> • Pumped water will be distributed evenly to both cells. <br /> • Purpose: To help maintain similarity between the beds for plants and O&M, we strongly recommend this. <br />
