0 <br /> dairy stables and sanitary milk houses shall be held to mean and <br /> include as follows: <br /> (a) Sanitary stables: substantially constructed stables with <br /> ample light and ventilation, celled, having tight floors and water <br /> tight gutters made either of concrete or tongue and groove lumber <br /> and drain so constructed as to carry liquid a reasonable distance <br /> from the stable, such stable to be whitewashed (or painted) at <br /> least once each year and to be kept clean at all times, free from <br /> dust and with manure removed to not less than fifty (50) feet from <br /> the nearest point to the stable; no horses shall be stabled in the <br /> same compartment with the cows; chicken houses and hog pens shall be <br /> kept not less than one hundred (100) feet from the milking stables. <br /> (b) Milk Houses: Milk houses shall be substantially con- <br /> structed, well ventilated with ample light ; veiled and painted on <br /> the inside,with concrete floors and shall have a can holding tank. <br /> The milk house shall be well drained, the drain being carried to a <br /> reasonable distance therefrom; it shall not be located in a build- <br /> ing used for any other purpose whatsoever, and shall be so locat- <br /> ed as to give ample space for ventilation between it and other <br /> buildings,and shallbe at least 100 feet from manure pile, chicken <br /> house or hog pens <br /> Section Jfi/ No person shall sell, expose or offer for sale, <br /> or deliver to any milk plant, factory of milk products, or other <br /> buyer or consumer of milk or milk products, any unclean, adulter- <br /> ated or unwholesome, stale or impure milk or cream or other dairy <br /> product. Provided, that milk, cream or milk products,when found, <br /> so delivered, to be in any condition mentioned in this section or <br /> in such condition as t o be unfit for human consumption, may be con- <br /> demned, destroyed or otherwise rendered unfit for food by the silk <br /> and Food Inspector. <br /> Section ' ; That Ordinance No. 1642 of the City of Everett <br /> be and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> Section: Any person or persons, firm or corporation, <br />
