• •
ENGINEERING
PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT
July 27, 2023
Larry
RE: Owner: Everett School Dist. 2
Job Address: 12815 19th Ave SE
Plan Check Number: E2307-008
Dear Larry,
In response to your application for a construction permit, your plans have been examined and you
are advised that the issuance of a permit is being withheld for the reasons listed below. These
comments address electrical issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other
departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2022 National Electrical
Code,) (2020 Chapter 296-46B WAC rules,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or
Washington State Energy Code 2015 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated
otherwise.
In order for the processing of your application to continue,it will be necessary to provide
the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections
requested.
1. The load calculations as required by WAC 296-46B-900(3)(h) are not correct on both
panels P1 and DP1. The total connected load is reduced from the panel schedule to the
breakout itemization in the formula for the demand factor to get the demand load.
If you have any questions, please email or call me at (425) 259-7270. Upon submittal of the
drawings, your application will be given priority and plan reviews will recommence. All required
submittals shall be sufficient detail and contain sufficient information to ensure that the proposed
structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
Please prepare a response letter showing where each item in this correction
letter is addressed on the plan set.
Sincerely,
Steve Banks
Chief Inspector
City of Everett Public Works Department
CITY OF EVERETT • 3200 Cedar Street • Everett, WA 98201 • (425) 257-8810 • Fax(425) 257-8857
