<br />MLE 325-178 Subrecipient Agreement - Boating Program (FFA Grant Award) Page 27 of 35 <br />F. Federal Non-discrimination Statutes. Subrecipient is responsible to comply with all <br />federal statutes relating to non-discrimination, including but not limited to: Title VI of the <br />Civil Rights Act of 1964 (PL 88-352) which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, <br />color or national origin; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (20 USC §§ 1681- <br />1683; 1685-1686) which prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender; Section 504 of <br />the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 USC § 794) which prohibits discrimination on the basis <br />of handicaps; Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (42 USC §§ 6101-6107) which prohibits <br />discrimination on the basis of age; Drug Abuse Office and Treatment Act of 1972 (PL 92- <br />255) which prohibits discrimination on the basis of drug abuse; the Comprehensive <br />Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation Act of 1970 (PL <br />91-616) regarding non-discrimination on basis of alcohol abuse or alcoholism; Sections <br />523 and 527 of the Public Health Services Act of 1912 as amended (42 USC §§ 290 dd- <br />3 and 290 ee-3) regarding confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records; Title <br />VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (42 USC §§ 3601 et seq.) regarding nondiscrimination <br />in the sale, rental or financing of housing; any other nondiscrimination provisions of the <br />specific statutes under which this agreement is being made; and the requirements of any <br />other nondiscrimination statute(s) which apply to the federal financial assistance award <br />received by MLE. <br />G. Eligible Workers. Subrecipient shall ensure that all employees complete the I-9 Form <br />to certify that they are eligible for lawful employment under the Immigration and <br />Nationality Act (8 USC 1324a). Subrecipient shall comply with regulations regarding <br />certification and retention of the completed forms. <br />H. To the extent applicable to this award, Subrecipient is responsible to comply with <br />1. National Environmental Policy Act; E.O. 11514 (which requires the Subrecipient <br />to comply with environmental standards which may be prescribed pursuant to <br />institution of environmental quality control measures under the National <br />Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 USC Chapter 55, [Pub. L. 91-190]) and <br />Executive Order 11514. <br />2. E.O. 11990: Protection of Wetlands (which requires the Subrecipient to comply <br />with environmental standards for the protection of wetlands) <br />3. E.O. 11988: Floodplain Management; E.O. 11988 (which requires the <br />Subrecipient to comply with environmental standards for the evaluation of flood <br />hazards in floodplains) <br />4. Coastal Zone Management Act (which requires Subrecipient to ensure that the <br />work performed will not violate State management programs developed under the <br />Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972) (16 USC Chapter 33, Sections 1451 et <br />seq.).’ <br />5. Wild and Scenic Rivers Act (which requires the Subrecipient to protect <br />components or potential components of the national wild and scenic rivers <br />system). (16 USC Chapter 28, Sections 1271 et seq.)
