1 s ORD IN NCE NO. 2421 . An Ordinance providing for the improvement of the Norton Avenue Extension, from the monument line of 14th Street to a point 1433.5 feet southerly therefrom, by the installation of water mains and their necessary appurtenances, and doing all other work in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 3437 of the city of Ev- erett, creating an assessment district, creating a local improve- ment district fund therefor, providing that said improvement be made by special assessment upon the property in said district by the method of payment by bonds to the extent of the cost of a six-inch main, the balance to be paid out of the funds of the water department of the city of Everett; dividing said district into a direct benefit district and into an indirect benefit dis- trict and declaring an emergency. EEREAS, by Resolution No. 3437 of the city of Everett, the City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the improvement of the Norton venue Extension, from the monu- ment line of 14th Street to a point 1433.5 feet southerly there- from, by the installation of water mains and their necessary ap- purtenances, and going all other' work in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer; now, therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT LOB ORD..Ir. Section 1; That the Norton Avenue Extension, from the monument line of 14th Street to a paint 1433.5 feet southerly therefrom, be improved by the installation of water mains 'and their necessary a purtenances, and doing all other work in con- nection therewith to make a complete improvement, in accord- ance with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engi- neer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and ap- proved.
