The engineer's <br /> estimate was $5,735,520.64. Construction is anticipated to begin in June 2016 and be completed by March <br /> 2017. <br /> This Phase 2 project will replace old and deteriorated sewers and will extend the separate stormwater system <br /> to control combined sewer overflows (CSOs) at PSO1, PSO2 and PSO3 sufficiently to be in compliance with <br /> regulatory requirements. This project is listed on the Agreed Order with the Washington Department of <br /> Ecology for completion by the end of 2017. <br /> The overall project (Phase 1 and 2) constructs a new network of separate stormwater drainage pipes that <br /> partially separate stonnwater from approximately 112 acres of residential area. <br /> In conjunction with this project, the Grand Avenue Park Bridge will be needed to furnish offsite conveyance <br /> of separated stormwater and CSOs to Port Gardner. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award the bid for the Sewer M Project Phase 2 to KLB Construction,Inc. in the amount of$4,474,693.51. <br /> 101 <br />
