The current lease term expires on June 30,2016. SNOPAC wishes to modify the renewal term to provide for a two year extension rather than the one year extension currently provided in the lease. The two year extension would commence on July 1, 2016, and terminate at midnight on June 30,2018,leaving two more options to extend for two years each. The base rent has been adjusted slightly downward to reflect current market rates. The proposed monthly rent commencing on July 1,2016 is $20,393.75 or$1.25 per square foot per month. This is down from the current$1.30 per square foot per month resulting in an adjusted annual base rent of$244,725. All other lease terms remain unchanged. RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor to sign Lease Renewal and Amendment No. 2 to lease with the Snohomish County Police and Auxiliary Services Center for space at the South Precinct building. 119
