The Planning Commission held a public <br /> hearing on April 19,2016 to consider public testimony, and recommends that the City Council approve the <br /> proposed ordinance.Planning and Legal staff are further recommending a modification to proposed Special <br /> Regulation 27 of Table 5-1 shown in underlined below subsequent to the Planning Commission <br /> recommendation: <br /> (27) Permitted only on land owned by a public agency or that the public agency has transferred to <br /> another entity for the purpose of developing supportive housing. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt an Ordinance authorizing"Supportive Housing" in various residential and commercial <br /> zones, amending Ordinance Nos. 1671-89 (EMC Title 19,Zoning) and 2530-01 (EMC Title 15, <br /> Local Project Review Procedures), as amended. <br /> 1 <br />
