ORDINANCE NO. 2329-98 <br /> "111P7,41 <br /> An Ordinance AmendingOrdinance Section 39.130 of Ordinance <br /> #1671-89 (EMC 19.39.130), as amended by Section 25 of Ordinance �.7 <br /> No. 1838-91, and by Section 14 of Ordinance No. 2146-96, Adding a <br /> Section Which Provides for a"Cluster Alternative for Subdividing," <br /> and Amending Use-Standards Tables 6-01 (EMC 19.06.010, Page 6-01), 8-01 <br /> (EMC 19.08.010, Page 8-01), 9-01 (EMC 19.09.010, Page 9-01), 10-01 (EMC <br /> 19.10.010, Page 10-01), 11-01 (EMC 19.11.010, Page 11-01), 12-01 (EMC <br /> 19.12.010, Page 12-01), 13-01 (EMC 19.13.010, Page 13-01), and 14-01 (EMC <br /> 19.14.010, Page 14-01), of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett adopted its Growth Management Comprehensive Plan in <br /> August, 1994, as required by the Washington State Growth Management Act (GMA); and <br /> WHEREAS,the City's Subdivision Regulations are being updated and amended; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Subdivision Regulations are a development regulation under the <br /> Washington State Growth Management Act(GMA); and <br /> WHEREAS,the City's Subdivision Regulations work with the City's Zoning Regulations <br /> to determine the standards for creating lots through the subdivision process; and <br /> WHEREAS,the proposed amendments to the Subdivision Regulations and Zoning <br /> Regulations have been reviewed by the Mayor's Regulatory Review Committee, which <br /> provided recommendations to the Planning Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held public workshops and public hearings to <br /> consider the proposed amendments to the City's Subdivision Regulations and Zoning <br /> Regulations; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Planning Commission has recommended that the City Council approve <br /> the proposed amendments to the City's Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Code; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council held a public hearing to take public testimony and consider <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council finds: <br /> 1. The proposed amendments to the Zoning Code are consistent with, and implement the <br /> City's GMA Comprehensive Plan; <br /> 2. The proposed amendments to the Zoning Code bear a substantial relation to the public <br /> health, safety and general welfare; and <br />
