* 0 ORDINANCE NO. 24G0 An ordinance Tiroviding for the improvement of Rainier Avenue, from 15th Street to 16th Street, by clearing, grubbing and grading to proper grade, construction of a concrete side- walk, installation of necessary drainage and doing all other work • necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by spe- cial assessment on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, pe- titioning for said improvement, has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of Public Works and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true; and WHEREAS, said Cotmissioner of Public Works has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law; and • WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public Works has recommend- ed to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and it appearing to the City Council that public conven- ience and necessity reouires such improvement to be made; now, therefore, • THE CITY OF EVERTT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Rainier Avenue, from 15th Street to 16t/h Street, be improved by clearing, grubbing and grading to proper grade, construction of a concrete sidewalk, installation of ne- cessary drainage, and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, according to the plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans ;and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improve- ment, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne
