Section 19: Compliance <br /> Whenever such notice is posted, the building official shall include a notification thereof <br /> in the violation citation, specifying the conditions which necessitate the posting. No <br /> person shall remain in or enter any building which has been so posted, except that entry <br /> may be made to repair, demolish or remove such building under permit. No person shall <br /> remove or deface any such notice after it is posted until the required repairs, demolition <br /> or removal have been completed and a certificate of occupancy issued pursuant to the <br /> provisions of the Building Code. <br /> Section 20: Failure to Attend Hearing <br /> Failure of any person to attend the hearing before the violations hearing examiner in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this code shall constitute a waiver of the right to an <br /> administrative hearing and adjudication of the violation citation or any portion thereof. <br /> Section 21: Enforcement of the Violations Hearing Examiner Order <br /> After any order of the violations hearing examiner made pursuant to this code shall have <br /> become final,no person to whom any such order is directed shall fail, neglect or refuse to <br /> obey any such order. Any such person who fails to comply with any such order is guilty <br /> of a misdemeanor which, for purposes of this ordinance, shall be punishable by a fine not <br /> to exceed $1,000 or by imprisonment not to exceed 90 days or both fine and <br /> imprisonment. Each separate day or any portion thereof during which any violation <br /> occurs or continues shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense, and upon conviction <br /> thereof shall be punishable as herein provided. <br /> Section 22: Failure to Obey Order <br /> If, after any order of the building official or violations hearing examiner made pursuant to <br /> this code has become final, the person to whom such order is directed shall fail, neglect or <br /> refuse to obey such order, the building official may(i) cause such person to be prosecuted <br /> as provided in this code or(ii) institute any appropriate action to abate such building as a <br /> public nuisance. <br /> Section 23: Judicial Review <br /> The process for judicial review of land use decisions in Chapter 36.70C RCW shall be the <br /> process for appeals of orders issued by the hearing examiner in accordance with the <br /> procedures set forth herein. <br /> Section 24: Stay of Order <br /> Enforcement of any order issued under this code shall be stayed only during the pendency <br /> of an appeal therefrom only as provided in Chapter 36.70C RCW. <br /> Section 25: Failure to Commence Work <br /> Whenever the required repair or demolition is not commenced within such time as the <br /> building official or violations hearing examiner shall determine is reasonable (not to <br /> 11 <br />
