(Consultant) will provide on-call support to supplement Surface Water <br />Management staff in reviewing stormwater plans for private development submittals. This will be <br />a 5-year contract initiated in 2024 through December 31, 2028, with a total contract amount of <br />$250,000. The services include reviewing stormwater elements of Land Use and Public Works <br />permit applications. The Consultant may represent Surface Water Management in <br />pre-application meetings with developers to discuss stormwater standards and design elements. <br />Additionally, support may be requested for unusual/highly technical types of development that <br />required the assistance of wetland scientists; biologists; and professionally licensed civil, <br />structural, and/or geotechnical engineers. Small project design support may also be requested <br />for tasks such as modeling, critical areas analysis, design, etc. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with PACE Engineers, Inc. <br />($250,000 total) for 2024-2028 On-Call Stormwater Plan Review Support. <br />
