See the City of <br /> Everett website for additional information. The forms should include the floor plans required in <br /> "Section 3 — Floor Plan". <br /> 2. The Main Floor Plan on Sheet A2 shows a second kitchen. The kitchen is not permitted per <br /> comments provided by the Planning Department on July 8, 2021. The kitchen should be <br /> approved by the Planning Department or removed from the drawings. See Section R106.1.1. <br /> Architectural <br /> 1. The intended egress path for the AFH portion of the should be specified in the drawings. If the <br /> egress path is other than the existing front door, the AFH should be provided with a continuous <br /> and traversable egress path to the public right-of-way. Stairs should comply with Section <br /> R311.7. Ramps should comply with Section R330.9 where provided. See Section R311. <br /> 2. The plans should include a note requiring the locking devises on all doors to comply with <br /> Section R330.4. <br /> 3. All stairways should include handrails, including exterior stairways. See Section R311.7.8 and <br /> IPMC Section 307.1. <br /> 4. The entire house is required to provide smoke and CO alarms complying with Sections R314 <br /> and R315, respectively. The alarms should be shown on all levels. All existing and new alarms <br /> should be hardwired to the main electrical system, interconnected, and provided with back-up <br /> battery power. <br /> 5. The AFH bathroom is required to provide grab bars per Section R330.8. Blocking should be <br /> provided in the walls; the blocking should be detailed to support a minimum 200-pound load. <br /> 6. Sheet A3 appears intended to show energy credit requirements in the lower-left corner <br /> complying with WSEC Section R406. The list includes "Option 2", which does not exist. One of <br /> Options 2.1 through 2.4 should be specified.
