Please see attached site plan and elevation view of the fence we have built in our front yard. Prior to building this fence, we kept finding the code section that stated we didn't need to apply for a permit for a fence under 6' tall in Snohomish county. During our research, we kept getting routed to Snohomish county regulations, which was an oversight on our part. We also made sure to keep in line with all the other neighbor's walls and fences in our neighborhood. We feel that our fence is an improvement for curb appeal, well built, and is helpful with security. This street has become a secondary route during rush hour for Evergreen Way and we have experienced multiple thefts. This fence allows us to have a little privacy, security, and piece of mind for our beloved pet. We are hopeful that you can take all these issues under consideration and issue us the permit.
