'y .1'.za'"lVT&( Y`+� <br /> F V <br /> Q <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2373 <br /> An Ordinance providing for the improvement of 18th Street, <br /> from sucker Avenue to _oyt avenue, by the removal of old lumber, <br /> grading to proper grade, construction of concrete curbs and con- <br /> struction of 6-inch Portland cement one course concrete pavement <br /> 27 feet aide, installation of necessary drainage, and doing all <br /> other work necessary to make a complete improvement, creating <br /> an assessment district, c- .. , , creating <br /> a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that <br /> payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on the <br /> property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds, <br /> WHEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, peti- <br /> tioning for said improvement, has heretofore been filed with the <br /> Commissioner of public Works and said Commissioner has found the <br /> things set forth in said petition to be true; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Commissioner of .l ublic =dorks has filed with <br /> the City Council all data and information, as required by law; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public 'Works has recommended <br /> to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, <br /> and it ap ,earing to the City Council that public convenience and <br /> necssity requires such improvement to be made ; now, therefore, <br /> THE CITE{ OF EVER-TT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1, That 18th Street, from Rucker Avenue to Hoyt <br /> OfAulki 4Wimproved by-the removal of old lumber, grading to pro- <br /> per grade, : donstruction of concrete curbs and construction of <br /> Of,;6.4nah Portland cement one course concrete pavement 27 feet <br /> wide, installation of necessary drainage, and doing all other work <br /> necessary to make a complete improvement, according to the plans and <br /> specifications prepared under the directions of the City 2ngineer, <br /> which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, <br /> including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and <br /> assessed against the property included in the assessment district <br />
