A revised drawing set and calculation package are submitted with this letter. Revisions are in <br /> accordance with IBC Chapter 16. The new kitchen addition will be laterally supported with wood <br /> shear walls. The new steel beam is to resolve gravity loads only. <br /> 2. The guardrail at the Juliet window is a deferred submittal and by others. <br /> 3. Discontinuous shear walls are engineered per IBC Chapter 16.
