0 ORDINANCE NO. 2350 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Terrace Drive, from 42nd Street to 44th Street, by the complete construction of an eight-inch sewer and its necessary appurtenances,. and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an as- sessment district, creating a Local Improvement District Fund there- for, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by spe- cial assessment on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds, and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS, a petition of the property owners petitioning for said improvement, signed by the owners of sixty per cent , of the lineal frontage upon the improvement to be made and three-fourths of the area within the limits of the proposed improvement district, and which petition specified that the property within such proposed improvement district might be assessed up to the actual true value • thereof, has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of Pub- lic Works and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true; and WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the • City Council all data and information, as required by law; and WHEREAS, said. Commissioner of Public Works has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and it appearing to the City Council that public convenience and neces- sity requires such improvement to be made; now, therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Terrace Drive, from 42nd to 44th Street, be improved by the complete constructinn of an eight-inch sewer and its necessary appurtenances, and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, according to the plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. -1-
