Space Heater Vent Re -Route Question (concept)
8-Feb-23
Concept Installation
I would like to improve my understanding of the 8ft requirement.
Is it measured from the wall surface to the aiae tanaent point?
If "yes" then I can change the vent exit location in the roof.
_ - \)t
i 8ft.
Vertical height to be
same as current.
IVGVV VGIIL I%JL.GLLI%JII kU%Jl1%,U[JL).
V
lop
I did some additional measuring and it looks like I can redo the vent routing to be
further away from the wall with the window to achieve an 8ft spacing.
Before I cut another hole into my roof I would like to confirm if I have the correct
understanding for 8ft space from the window wall surface. I believe that this re-
routing of the vent will meet that requirement, but I want to confirm and coordinate
with you before I rework the existing installation.
Walt White, Email: w3Leon@gmail.com
